The Church from the Hill

The Church from the Hill is definitely the most valuable architectural monuments from Sighisoara Citadel. Building this church, dedicated to St. Nicholas, started in 1345 and continued with several interruptions until 1525. The church contains the two older buildings from the upper plateau of the hill: a Romanesque chapel and a dungeon of rectangular shape.
Also, the monument is valuable due to the only one chapel known in Transylvania, situated under the choir, containing tombs from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

Currently we don't have travel offers at The Church from the Hill.
